What happens at a skin consultation?
A skin consultation is a free, no-obligation conversation about your skin — your concerns, your goals, and which treatment (or combination of treatments) is realistically going to get you there. It's the recommended first step for anyone unsure whether SKINSTORM, microneedling, a chemical peel or dermaplaning is right for them.
TL;DR
- A free, 30-minute, no-obligation chat about your skin goals
- Recommended first step if you're unsure which treatment suits you
- Strongly advised before certain treatments, like scalp microneedling
- No preparation needed
What actually happens during a consultation
Your therapist will talk through what's bothering you about your skin, look at your skin's current condition, and ask about your history — including any previous treatments, sensitivities or medical considerations that might affect what's suitable. From there, they'll recommend a treatment path, explain realistic timelines and pricing, and answer any questions before you commit to anything.
Why a consultation matters, even if you think you know what you want
It's tempting to book straight into a specific treatment because you've read about it — but skin concerns are rarely as simple as one single problem. A consultation catches things a self-diagnosis might miss: whether you're actually a suitable candidate for a treatment, whether a different or combined approach would get better results, and what order treatments should happen in if you're planning more than one.
Who it's especially useful for
A consultation is strongly recommended (not just helpful) before booking certain treatments directly — scalp microneedling for hair loss is a good example, since suitability genuinely affects the outcome and deposits for that treatment aren't refundable if you turn out not to be a candidate.

Is the consultation really free?
Yes — it's a free, no-obligation appointment with no pressure to book anything afterwards.
How long does a consultation take?
Around 30 minutes.
What will I leave with?
A clear recommendation on which treatment — or course of treatments — suits your skin, along with pricing and next steps if you'd like to book.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
No specific preparation is needed — just come as you are, ideally without makeup if possible so your therapist can see your skin clearly.
